Here is what Sellers love about their home and Ipswich in their own words:

We have enjoyed living here for all the reasons anyone enjoys living in Ipswich including access to Crane's Beach, park lands, canoeing on the river, Appleton Farms etc...

Specific to our home: The location is ideal for traveling to Boston with easy connections to NYC by train. We have a short walk to downtown restaurants and shops yet the site has a nice aspect of privacy due to the abutting non-buildable/ protected land behind the house. There is plenty of room in the yard for pets and kids and a vegetable garden (tho we don't have one this year). Birds love this yard as well with a wide variety stopping by year-round to visit and taunt our cats. The occasional deer will wander through as well. We also enjoyed the residents shell fish permit for digging Ipswich clams even if we only picked oysters.

We have ample living space in a house that has style and history and was built in a robust way not common in modern construction. We loved the separate bath for the "kids" suite. We also have the bonus of a huge basement that allows for an enviable home woodworking shop. This was a major selling point when we bought the house and almost everyone who visits RAVES about the basement!!! The basement also has three separate areas, one of which Ed used for his office (software design) in the past and could be used for similar with some finishing. And I won't say any more about our neighbors than that they are wonderful and will be missed.
